The evaluation is carried out by means of a blood test and subsequent evaluation in the laboratory.

To make it easier to take the blood sample on the day of the test, we ask you to drink 1 liter of liquid 1-2 hours before the test.
Please carry out the test on an empty stomach and only between 6:00 am and 10:00 am, as your cortisol level varies greatly throughout the day and otherwise we will not be able to compare your result with the reference values.

Exclusion criteria:

This test is not suitable for test persons under the age of 18.
The test is not suitable if you are pregnant, taking hormonal contraception (pill, oral contraceptive pills, hormonal coil, etc.) or currently taking hormone replacement therapy with oestrogens. In these cases, your cortisol values can vary greatly and therefore lie outside the reference values specified by us in the findings.
